মাথায় সিলিংফ্যান পড়ে আহত হয়েছেন বহুল আলোচিত সাবেক তথ্য ও সম্প্রচার প্রতিমন্ত্রী মুরাদ হাসান।
বৃহস্পতিবার রাতে জামালপুরের সরিষাবাড়ী উপজেলার আওনা ইউনিয়নের দৌলতপুরে নিজ বাড়িতে এ দুর্ঘটনার শিকার হন তিনি।
দুর্ঘটনায় সাবেক প্রতিমন্ত্রীর কপাল ফেটে গেছে। এ সংসদ সদস্যের কপালে তিনটি সেলাই দেওয়া হয়েছে। বর্তমানে তিনি নিজ বাড়িতে চিকিৎসকের পর্যবেক্ষণে রয়েছেন।
এ তথ্য নিশ্চিত করেছেন উপজেলা স্বাস্থ্য কমপ্লেক্সের আবাসিক মেডিকেল অফিসার দেবাশীষ রাজবংশী।
শুক্রবার দুপুরে তিনি জানান, শুনেছি বৃহস্পতিবার রাতে বাড়ির বৈঠকখানায় নেতাকর্মীদের সঙ্গে আলোচনা করছিলেন ডা. মুরাদ হাসান। এ সময় সিলিংফ্যান মাথায় পড়ে গুরুতর আহত হন তিনি। এ খবরের কিছু পরেই হাসপাতালের একটি চিকিৎসক দল মুরাদ হাসানে বাড়িতে গিয়ে তাকে প্রাথমিক চিকিৎসা দেন।
দুর্ঘটনার বিষয়ে মুরাদ হাসানের ব্যক্তিগত সহকারী জাহিদ নাঈম গণমাধ্যমকে বলেন, বৃহস্পতিবার রাতে সিলিংফ্যান পড়ে মুরাদ হাসান এমপির কপাল ফেটে যায়। পরে সরিষাবাড়ী হাসপাতালে খবর দিলে চিকিৎসকের একটি দল তার বাড়িতে গিয়ে প্রাথমিক চিকিৎসাসেবা দেন। বর্তমানে এখন তিনি আশঙ্কামুক্ত রয়েছেন।
আলোচিত সাবেক তথ্য ও সম্প্রচার প্রতিমন্ত্রী দীর্ঘদিন যাবৎ উপজেলার আওনা ইউনিয়নের দৌলতপুর নিজ বাড়িতে অবস্থান করছেন।
